Love all dogs- especially boxers!
Pet care experience
I have grown up with many different dogs, and am good with both large and small sizes. I'm great at enforcing good behaviors and making sure the dogs have enough exercise and cuddle time! Our family pet we trained to be a therapy dog (in my profile picture), and I have a special place in my heart for boxers. If your dog needs a little extra help with discipline, just let me know how you prefer to train and I will make sure I follow that style of teaching. We recently adopted a boxer puppy so it's important that the two get along and have a meet and greet before we accept any stays. My standard rate includes 30 hours of dog watching (ie drop off at 10 am and pickup by 4 pm). If you need to drop off your pet early or pick up late, no problem! I charge $5/hour outside of the standard times and will make sure your dog gets the necessary meals/exercise during that time I'm signing up for rover because I miss having dogs in my life but am unable to get one at this time.

Kathryn cared for my dog Josie in her own home for three days. Josie had never stayed away from home, so I was concerned about how she would adjust. Kathryn sent a picture during Josie's stay and was very responsive throughout the planning phase as well. She and her fiance both met with me and Josie before her stay, and they seemed to enjoy having her. Josie is reactive and pulls intensely on walks. Kathryn handled all of her quirks with ease, and was very considerate of Josie's comfort and the training we've been doing at home. Her extensive experience with dogs is evident. Josie seemed fine with being away from home with Kathryn, and even seems to have gained a bit of confidence from the experience. Thank you, Kathryn!
I highly recommend Kathryn! She is super dependable for me and patient and caring for my dogs. She is great at reinforcing the commands I'm working on at the time and overall a really reliable dog watcher and someone I love and trust having around my pups.
Kathryn has watched our 3 year old golden, Emmylou many times including a week long stay. Emmylou adores her. Kathryn is very active and will give your pup all the love and exercise that they need. Emmy is a very energetic dog and Kathryn handles her beautifully. She is the only person we have felt comfortable leaving Emmy with other than her trainer. Highly recommend.
