Pet care experience
I have owned cats for most of my life and attended to their various medical needs. For two years, I volunteered at a feline adoption center where I cared for cats and kittens of all ages. I have experience caring for dogs as an in-home pet sitter and walker. I'm happy to work with all kinds of animals at all ages! Additionally, I am unavailable between 8 am & 6 pm Wednesdays & Thursdays, as I go into the office for work during those days. Since traveling from NJ to NY would incur additional fees such as tolls, I do not service Manhattan.

Drop-in visits for cats includes feeding, litter cleaning, refreshing water, play time, and any other needs. Drop-in/walking visits for dogs includes feeding and refreshing water, and some play time in your yard or a walk, as well as anything else your pet needs.

Every animal is different and some have specific triggers, allergies, or health issues, all of which are very helpful to know about beforehand. I will tailor my behavior to that of your pet to make them as comfortable as possible. I work with all animals and all breeds. Since my services are at my clients' homes, it would helpful to know your usual walking route and any places you tend to avoid in the neighborhood (ex: there is a cat in the big red house on the corner that my dog goes crazy at). Knowing their favorite toys and treats is always a plus, as well as any after walk routines that you usually do with your pet.
A typical day
I love to get to know each and every animal I work with. I'll make sure to stimulate them with their favorite toys and/or their favorite walking spots in your neighborhood.

I currently work part-time and have plenty of flexibility to care for your animal(s). I am available for drop-in visits, dog walks, and overnight pet/house sitting.
