Pet care experience
I used to work for a pet sitter company and cared for pets in their home for over a year with a licensed company in SoCal until I moved away. Since then I have 2 dogs of my own, I foster, pet-sit fir friends and try to get 4-5 walks in per week. I completed canine 1st aid and am familiar with giving medications to dogs and the challenges thereof

I could not recommend Kathrin more! She is a very caring and passionate person when it comes to taking care of my 2 pups. She has cared for my dogs (for over 2 years) as if they were her own, and I'm pretty sure they love her more than us. She is loyal and trustworthy and provides the best service in town!
Kathrin is an animal lover. To her the dogs always come first. She goes out of her way to ensure their well-being and always goes the extra mile. I have seen her around her dogs, my dogs, other friends dogs. She always has an eye on every dog even if there are 7 or 8 around. She always ensures that they are all safe and happy. There is no one who I would trust my fur kids with more than her.

Sitting at owners home means to me that I confine myself to permitted areas and leave the home as clean as I find it. I like to play fetch, teach new skills (if permitted) and mostly, I love going on walks. I typically walk 3-5 miles per day with my own dogs. Please note that for overnight stays, I will be bringing my own 2 dogs- good with dogs, cats and horses.

My dogs are very used to having hiking companions as I used to organize group hikes until I moved here. To me, it’s important to know if your dog is used to leash walking or if I can keep them under control if they pull. Any allergies that would keep me from giving them treats? What is your fur babies usual activity level?
A typical day
I like to go on walks from 3 to 5 miles average in the evenings. There are a couple of hikes in the area I like to do, from lake whatcom mountain trail to Edfro creek trail, depending on daylight hours and energy level.

Availability
I am available evenings and nights until 7AM. During the week I work full time. If need be, I can arrange for a drop-in during the day to check on your pets well-fare. I do usually work on Saturday’s 1/2 day.
