Pet care experience
My very first birthday request, from what I recall, was a Dalmatian or a Great Dane. My favorite movie as a child (not shocking) 101 Dalmatians and my favorite cartoon Scooby-Doo. I have taken care of parrots, cats, dogs, ferrets, raccoons, fish; their personalities are infectious. I recently read, “Your Dog Is Your Mirror”, by Kevin Behan it resonated with me. I adapt to animals and crave to know more about their mentality and personality.
Reviews
I have known Kathleen for over 20 years and have only known her as a responsible and caring person. I have no doubt that she would be an excellent caretaker of your furry loved one.
I would like to say that Kathleen is an amazing person and an excellent caregiver for her own pets. I completely 100% believe she would be amazing. She is caring, attentive to details and very dependable.
I recommend Kathleen to be a perfect pet sitter. Animals love her just as much as she loves them. She is so patient with them.

Safety, trust & environment
My home has accommodated dogs, cats and birds (at one time a tortoise) with ease. Currently, four happy pups live here living their best lives. Our house is fenced and well protected with easy access to food and water at all times.
Information Kathleen W. would like to know about your pet
If your pets need any special care, I have taken care of geriatric dogs and newborn puppies. My dog, Ringo, is elderly and needs medication bi-weekly. I am open to learning how you would like medication administered. I have experience and a background in Neuroscience, Medical Assistance, Nursing and phlebotomy.
A typical day
A typical day would first and foremost be your pets' needs. Everyone is different. From a newborn puppy to an elderly dog that needs medication twice a day, etc. Activities include walking, playing with their favorite toy or letting them sleep peacefully during naptime. Acknowledgement is a big factor for me as a pet owner; my pups love knowing I am around even when I am sending a quick e-mail or checking the home is secure. Fresh water, in this heat, is a priority. I do not allow my dogs table food. At the end of the day, taking care and being in the company of a furry friend is being present. Dogs are full of energy and love all I hope is to provide that temporary care while you are away.
