I have trained and loved dogs most of my life. Beginning at the age of 12 through my early 20's I obedience trained and showed Cocker Spaniels. I also showed various other breeds in the confirmation ring for different owners. Throughout college and into my 20's I house sat for various pet owners including kennels and farms. I am now in my 50's with two teenage sons and a husband. I am a full time teacher in a quiet neighborhood. Our yard is fenced in and large. We just lost our mixed breed family member "Angus" right before Christmas so currently we have no pets. We do plan on getting a puppy but not until the summer. In the summer I will be available to dog sit, walk or drop in more frequently and at different times of the day. Special skills include dog training (obedience-walking on lead etc.), dog crate training, house training a puppy and I have worked in a grooming parlor. I also groomed many show dogs during my time in the AKC show circuit. I managed a pet store during college and have extensive knowledge of dog nutrition. I am available most weekends, during the week after 4 and will become more flexible during the summer.
