Hi, my name is Kathleen, but you can call me Kit. Before I moved to the city, I cared for my friend’s dogs (a Chihuahua and a Pug mix) while they were at work during the week. I also worked on a horse farm, where I got to interact with a variety of animals, both livestock and domesticated house pets. I currently live in a house in East York with my partner and our cat. Since my home isn't very ideal for boarding dogs, I’ve decided to offer my services in other areas, such as dog walking and in-home pet sitting. I can’t wait to explore the city with your inquisitive dogs, or stick close to home for some good old fashioned play time. Either way, I’m looking forward to meeting your canine companions.

I have two dogs and ever since they came home with us, Kathleen has been a part of their lives. She would come over daily during my work hours and walk them, and when it was too cold for walks, she'd let them out in the backyard and play with them indoors. She was never rough or unkind with the dogs, she always handled them gently and gave them lots of love and belly rubs. Now, the dogs know her by name and get over-the-top excited when she walks through the door. I would absolutely recommend Kathleen as a dog sitter to anyone who has dogs!

I would like to be informed of any medical needs, behavioral issues, or any other type of special needs your dog has. Do they have an allergy? Are they shy of other dogs? All of this information will help me keep your dog happy and healthy while they're in my care.
A typical day
I like to take dogs on walks to local parks, the bigger the better. If your dog is trained to be off leash, we can even play fetch! If I'm doing a home visit, your dog will have my undivided attention. Expect lots of play time for high energy dogs, and lots of hangout time for dogs who just want to chill. Oh, and don't forget belly rubs!
