Pet care experience
I grew up around dogs and have loved taking care of them all my life. I have a family dog, Gregory, who is a senior dog and lives with my parents. I took care of him while he was paralyzed 10 years ago, so I'm comfortable with taking care of disabled/senior dogs and administering medicine, cleaning their eyes/ears, etc. I also frequently walk my neighbor's dogs and have them stay at my house while they're gone. I have experience taking care of all kinds of dogs- but especially ones that are a little shy, I find that they tend to warm up quite quickly once they're settled in at my place. I live in a home with a yard (fenced, but not high enough for big dogs) and close by a park, so I can take your dog on a long walk, if needed. In general, I just love dogs and am always happiest when I'm around them, but I'm not able to own one right now, so I'd be really excited to take care of your pet like my own!

Super nice and sent updates of my little guy. He can he picky with people as he has a lot of anxiety but he immediately warmed up to Kathleen.

I live near Carkeek Park and have a big yard for dogs to run around, as well as trails for long walk. I don't have any dogs or children in my house and only take care of 1 client at a time for daycare and walking.

Please let me know if there is any dietary restrictions, special needs, allergies, and general behavior of your dog. I would also love to know if they are sensitive to certain sounds / objects (strangers, other dogs, vehicles, etc). I also need to know your dog's energy level, if they have separation anxiety, and their current weight. These are all very important information that I have to consider before taking on new clients, to ensure the best experience for both parties.
A typical day
Depending on your dog's energy level and their routine, I can take them on a very long walk around the local trail (1-2 hours), beach, dog park, and/or play fetch.

I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I can take your pet out every 2-4 hours for potty, take long walks, and give them as much attention as they need!
