Pet care experience
Safety, fun, and comfort are my utmost priorities for your dogs! I know what it's like to want to repay your four-legged best friend for all of the happiness they bring to your life. That's why I want to help owners add a little joy to their dog's day. Over the past 8 years, I've worked with dogs from all walks of life, including 2 of my own, and at local shelters and rescues -- including on-site walking, administering medications, basic training, community adoption events, and fostering. I recently graduated from IU with a PhD in Social Psychology, where I conducted research on canine cognition (I love having the dogs come in to be citizen scientists!). I am a friendly, responsible dog owner and I would like to extend the same care to your dogs as I provide for my own.

Kathleen did a great job watching Hank! She sent me regular updates with pictures of Hank and made sure he was loved, walked, and fed. I came back to a wonderfully happy little pup. I highly recommend Kathleen for your next booking and I will definitely have her watch Hank again in the future :)
Kathleen is excellent with dogs. I have met her two dogs, Pico and Bernie. Kathleen provides an excellent home for her two dogs - she is knowledgeable about dogs generally and is attentive to her dogs' needs. I have frequently brought Bojack over to visit Kathleen and her dogs. Bojack is always excited to see Kathleen and frequently chooses to sit next to her on the couch (rather than sitting next to me ... I'm not bitter about it ...). I can't imagine someone I would trust more to take care of my dog than Kathleen.
Kathleen is precisely the kind of person you want to watch your little furbaby when you need an extra hand! With her own dogs, she is extremely loving - providing them with tons of affection and the care they need. Additionally, she has watched my dog (Hank) a few times for me and is good about sending pictures and keeping me updated so that I come home knowing that Hank as cared for by Kathleen as he is when I am home. I highly recommend her to care for your pets :)
Kathleen is amazing with dogs! She has one small dog, Pico, and is also a foster with a local rescue. She has fostered dogs that need a bit extra TLC (have heartworm, require medication, etc). Kathleen also volunteers at our local animal shelter as a dog walker, playing and interacting with many types of dogs, big and small. She is intelligent, kind and patient--she'd be a fantastic dog-sitter for any dog.

Every dog has such a unique personality and I'm comfortable accommodating that with a jog, ball-throwing, a nice stroll, or just cuddles and belly rubs. I'm also available to work on basic training if desired.
