Pet care experience
I'm a registered nurse here in DC, who also happens to love caring for animals in between shifts (I also happen to be a cat mom)! I would love to drop in and care for your kitties while you’re away. I also grew up with, and have cared for dogs, spanning 70lb mutts and spunky cocker spaniels. Even though I don’t currently have a pup of my own, I am more than happy and comfortable working with yours, whether it be feeding, playing or taking them out for a nice long walk!

Please let me know if your babies have any dietary needs or medication needs. If they have any favorite toys, feel free to leave them out--I'd love to use them! Also, if I am walking your pup, please let me know of any specific routes to go, and/or if your pup is spooked by or prefers to be away from people/other dogs. I am also comfortable with medication administration, both oral and injection.
A typical day
If there is a specific route(s) you'd like me to take on walks, please let me know! Otherwise, I typically loop around the neighborhood blocks, or go to a nearby green space. When dropping in on cats, I enjoy playing with any of their favorite toys--wands, feathers, strings you name it.

Availability
My hospital schedule will vary, but I will work with you to be as flexible as possible. I also try and keep my calendar up-to-date for quick reference. If my calendar doesn't align with your needs, please feel free to shoot me a message and I'll double check my hours. Unfortunately because of my schedule variability, I’m unable to commit to reoccurring weekly visits, or longer requests that are sent months or weeks in advance.
