Pet care experience
I have had dogs most of my life and raised several from puppy to senior. For the past 6 years I have been a professional pet care specialist. As such I am responsible for daily dog walks of differing lengths, in-home boarding, and vacation pet care. Part of my responsibilities include feeding special diets, administration of eyedrops, dosing with pills and in the event of diabetic pets, the injection of insulin. I have successfully taken an emergency pet first aid course where I learned gentle restraint, dog Heimlich, and CPR. In the time I have been doing this professionally, I have repeat customers who request me by name. Although I have worked with, and medicated, both cats and dogs, I prefer only dogs in my home. I specialize in long-term care and have had dogs in my home for 3 months at a time while their pet parent was out of town, in rehab after a hip or knee replacement, and have been available for last-minute emergencies.

Kathleen as taken care of my Shih Tzu for several years. She walks him during the week because I am handicapped. Kathleen is so very caring and thoughtful. I have had surgeries and 3 month stays in rehab facilities. She sent a photo of my dog every mid week and brought him to the facility every Sunday for a visit. My dog loves her and is excited when she arrives. Kathleen is trustworthy. She has a key to my home and comes to walk him even when I am not at home. She also comes anytime I have had to call 911; she picks him up at the last minute to take him to her home and care for him. My dog and I are so very Blessed to have Kathleen in our lives. I highly recommend her.
Kathleen is the best! My dogs absolutely adore her, or at least the treats she always brings them! She takes pride in her work and ensuring both your dogs and she is safe and cared for!
