Hi! If you live in or around Bankers Hill I have probably met your pooch because I pretty much stop and ask to pet every pup I pass. I work from home for a software company based in Austin and live 1 block from Balboa Park so my pup and I take lots of walks everyday and have lots of grassy options nearby. About this sitter: Fun loving, social butterfly who loves all dogs! I prefer to have only one dog in my care at a time (unless all of the dogs are from the same family or it is a dog I have already cared for and only with and both owners approval). I prefer dogs on the smaller side just because my prefers it though I used to own a 90lb dog so I have nothing against bigger pups. Why I love dog sitting As a child, Clifford the big red dog was my favorite book as a kid and I used to get in trouble for dog-napping my next door neighbors Cocker Spaniel because I was so dog deprived. In 4th grade, I got to go pick out my very first puppy Iggy who was a blue healer/pit mix and was my first official dog. I spent my middle school years volunteering at my local vets office as part of an animal rights project I was working on and by high school I was a full blown animal loving vegetarian much to my parents chagrin. My next Pup was Bernie the beagle who lived through my college years. I took a pup break while I traveled extensively in my 20's and then 10 years ago my maternal puppy alarm clock went off and I had to have a dog again and that is when Siegen came into my life. We had a wonderful 10 years together and a heart condition took him too soon but he made me an expert at caring for animals. Now I've got Harrison whom I adore. I also love Rover because it is a very convenient way to earn some extra money as I LOVE to travel and this helps fund my many adventures. About my yard Not really - its more of an extended fire escape/patio. It is fenced though and there is fake grass out there that we use for laying on (not going potty) and my pup likes to go out there and soak up some sun. It's about 10ft x 4 ft.
