I helped train and raise two family dogs, a brother and sister beagle pair named Buddy and Sally, for most of my childhood and adolescence. I also had my own cat, so I am experienced in being the sole caretaker for an animal and often pet-sit for friends and family. I used to work at a large carnivore sanctuary and genuinely enjoy being around most animals, but particularly dogs. I have a flexible, open schedule perfect for house-/pet-sitting and know lots of great walking routes in the Little Rock area. Some tasks that may seem like chores (walking the dog, etc.) are enjoyable and even energizing for me; pets are a very calming presence for me but I am currently unable to get a pet of my own, so I always enjoy an opportunity to spend time with one.
