Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Katie! I grew up in a household where we always had pets (mostly dogs and cats, but also included rabbits and guinea pigs), normally at my unrelenting request, which meant I took part in the responsibilities required from a young age. I currently have one senior Himalayan cat, as we said goodbye to our 12 year old labradoodle a year ago. I have pet sitter & dog walker insurance, providing further peace of mind to my clients.

As always, Katie took excellent care of our doggo. We were away on vacation and have never left our dog for this long. We felt so at ease knowing she was in our home with our pup. The nightly updates were just what we needed and she kept the place as we would have. Easy to trust and communicate with and follows directions perfectly. Highly reccomend!
Good communication, conscientious and did a great job caring for my 2 cats, drop-in cat care! Would recommend :).

As long as there's a Wi-fi password, I can work my regular day job while providing your pet company throughout the weekday. I always appreciate taking breaks with your pets to play or get outside for some fresh air, it's mutually beneficial! I like to ensure your pet feels as comfortable as possible in their regular routine, so the more information you can provide on feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, etc. the better. I'll provide updates and photos your pets as regularly as you'd like. There's no such thing as TMI when it comes to good communication between us, as it ensures a level of comfort for you, me, and your pet(s)!

If there are any specific requests for your pet(s), please let me know either in their profile or during the meet and greet (these are necessary prior to the first booking so we can meet in person and ensure we are both a good fit for each other)! Please advise ahead of time if your pet requires constant care (ie: cannot be left alone for any period of time 2 hours or less), as this will increase the housesitting fees to accurately reflect the level of care required. I've dealt with a variety of animals and their specific needs and can be quite flexible, I just want to provide your pet(s) with the love and care they require and deserve :).
A typical day
I'm an active person, and absolutely love taking dogs along with me for an run or hiking adventure, no matter the distance, big or small! If your pet is a senior or isn't as active, that's okay too! I'll take all of the pet snuggles and cat naps.

I work remotely Monday - Friday, and I'm also available on weekends as needed. I’m a big morning person, so if you’re looking for something early, don’t hesitate to ask!
