About Me: I have gravitated towards animals my entire life and when I am around them I feel like I am in my element. Growing up, I cleaned horse stalls for lessons and trained my dogs (large and small). During college, I worked as a vet tech. I helped several friends bring balance to their home with their pets. I strongly believe you only need a few commands and consistency to have a happy home with your pets. I am here because I want to help! I offer dog walking services, drop-in visits, doggy daycare, and boarding. I work from home full-time so your pet will have full access to my home, and fenced-in back yard; restroom breaks every 0-2 hrs. I can work with you concerning any special requests or need, so please don’t hesitate to ask. I believe meet and greets are very beneficial for creating a fun, comfortable space, so I try to make them a priority for any boarding or doggy daycare requests. My pets: 2 dogs. 1 male, neutered and 1 female not fixed. Both are well mannered and enjoy playing with others. Kathleen was awesome! It was the first time our dog stayed away from us overnight, and Kathleen went above and beyond to keep her comfortable and ease her anxiety. She also updated us daily with how the day went and photos.

We love Kathleen's! Her daycare is a great size-- plenty of other dogs to play with but also small enough for lots of personal attention. She offers the pups a great balance of structure and positive reinforcement, with plenty of time for free play. And my dog certainly loves it--Kathleen's house is walking distance from our's, and my pup does her best to drag me there whether it's daycare day or not!
My little pup is very shy and timid around new people, dogs, environment, you name it. I've been working on getting her more comfortable with the world and socializing her as much as possible. I also wanted to find a sitter who Luna will be familiar with so that we can have her stay over night when we are planning to travel (months from now). I know she would not do well in the large facilities with unfamiliar people and dogs. I thought a regular sitter once or twice a week would really accomplish both of my goals. We did a meet and greet with Kathleen and her dogs and I really liked that she has a calm demeanor about her and her main focus was to "teach dog manners" for the dogs that stay with her. I did interview another highly reviewed dog sitter on Rover and choose Kathleen to watch Luna on a regular basis. I am confident that Luna will be taken good care of and really learn from the dogs in her care. Kathleen was very prompt with her response time and sent many updates on Luna's first stay.

Walks around the neighborhood, backyard play time, dog park adventures ( if the owner is comfortable with this). For higher energy dogs I like to go rollerblading, jogging or bike riding. Daily Routine Breakfast for my dogs: 7-9am Casual play and backyard fun: 9am-12pm Nap time/quiet time: 12-1:30pm Casual play and backyard fun: 1:30pm-4pm Quiet time: 4-5:30pm Daycare pickups: 5-6pm
