Pet care experience
I have been working as a vet tech for 7 years full time. I have been pet sitting for the same amount of time. I am truly passionate about providing the highest standard of care. I am able to drop in a few times a day depending on where you live. I am able to medicate and take care of dogs with health problems and provide any special care that is needed, including with senior dogs. I hope to be able to see your dogs in the future!!

Kathie was quick to respond and after a meet and greet with my dogs I felt very comfortable using her for a weekend get away. My dogs are large and get walked twice a day and Kathie did a great job keeping them in schedule. Will definitely use her again!

I also make sure to feed them according to their usual schedule, take them out for walks, and play with them to keep them entertained. If I'm petsitting at the client's home, I make sure to follow their instructions and care for the pets according to their usual routine.

When petsitting a dog, it's important to know their feeding schedule, any dietary restrictions, their exercise routine, and any medical conditions or medications they may need. It's also important to know their temperament and any behaviors to watch out for, such as separation anxiety or aggression towards other dogs.
A typical day
I usually start the day by feeding and walking the pets. Then, I make sure they have plenty of water and playtime. Throughout the day, I clean up any messes and give them lots of love and attention. At night, I tuck them in and make sure they're comfortable before heading to bed.
