Pet care experience
I have been caring for humans most of my life. I've been an HHA caring for seniors now for 13 years . Although I love my work I long for that special connection us humans have with our pets. October of last year I laid my dog, my best friend, down to rest and I feel It's time for me to start loving these beautiful amazing creatures again. However I am just not ready for one of my own. Then I heard of Rover and my heart just cried. I knew this is what I want to do. I have two children in the service. So I'm an Empty Nestor with a whole lotta' Love to give. Also I'm very knowledgeable when it takes to the caring for an animal. I took being a pet owner very seriously. I researched, I took classes, I educated myself. I feel that is super important when you're caring for an animal.

When I left for the navy my mom took care of my dog and my sisters cat. She's able to take care of large to small animals. When I got back my dog will only wanted to be with her. He had become my mom's baby. I couldn't take him from her so I let her take care of him until he passed away. She's a great pet owner so I'm sure she can take care of someone's pet very easily.
Kathi has always had a way with animals and is very sensitive to their needs and wants. Kathi will make sure that your animal, regardless of what kind of animal, will be taken care of to the fullest extent. Food, walks, and love! There will be no shortage of companionship.

I do have a fenced yard but no grass, however, I love to walk. We have a nice park I like to go to. I don't have any pets in the home.
Information Kathi B. would like to know about your pet
It's important your animal is comfortable with me so whatever special needs, weather they be physically or emotionally, I would like to know. Like Do & Don't , anxieties, physical restrictions etc. The more I know about your pet's needs the better I can care for them.
A typical day
Love to walk & sometimes run ;-) I realize it's hard to get your pet the proper excercise. So when your pet is with me (if they so desire) we will run, play, and explore. I have some favorite spots and the Cawston Dog Park is close by too.
