Pet care experience
Growing up with a mother as a veterinary technician has cultivated my love for all animals. I have experience with newborn to elderly animals ranging from snakes to large dogs. I am familiar with any special care required due to age or medical condition. I am currently studying Wildlife Sciences at UNR and have taken many courses regarding animal behavior and physiology. You can feel assured that I can not only provide love and company to your pet but also trust that you have someone that can recognize when something isn't quite right.

I love Kat! She’s my go to for pet sitting now. Her rates are extremely reasonable. You can take your dog to a kennel or for just a little more a night you can have Kat come stay at your house and your fur baby gets to stay in their own environment. My home is a condo with one medium sized dog who is friendly with cats and other dogs. Directly surrounding my home is a walking path as well as open space where your pet can play ball or walk leashed. Just up the street there is also a public park with fenced in open space for play. Rancho San Rafael dog park is less than a mile away. I live with my mother and long-term boyfriend. Even when I am not home, a family member is usually present to keep your pet company. I own several sized crates if needed and can kennel your pet any time. Access to a place to go potty is always open in a secure outdoor area.

I ask that you let me know if your pet is on any kinds of medication or if they have any physical ailments. This helps me provide more informed care. I also enjoy taking pups to the dog park so I like to know their temperament with other dogs. Lastly, I have a dog and two cats in my home so if I am boarding that is something to keep in mind!
A typical day
I love to take the pups I am sitting on hikes and walks depending on their needs. I keep my home fully stocked with all kinds of toys. If your pup loves a good car ride I am more than happy to let them come with me on drives! If I am boarding your pet in my home I have my own pup Clementine who is very friendly and loves to play.

Availability
I am a part time student and have a part time job. This leaves me with plenty of time to drop in on your pets multiple times a day as well as extended time to provide comfort and company. I am open to long-term set schedules for service as well as flexible clients.
