Pet care experience
I have worked with all types of animals for 14 years in a variety of setting. I am a seasoned animal care taker, dog groomer, dog trainer, and have experience as a veterinary assistant. Do you have a pet that most find intimidating? Look no further! I am confident taking care of all animals no matter if they have fur, scales, hooves, or antenna. The stranger the better. Do you have a dog who barks loudly and is scared of new people? No problem! I am determined to work with every animal’s individual needs to build trust and an everlasting bond. Do you have a cat who requires daily medication and monitoring? I do too! I am comfortable administering feline medication and paying close attention to health concerns. I know it can be scary trusting a stranger to watch your home and your beloved fur babies. I am a home owner myself and understand the complexity associated with owning property. You can rely on me to pay close attention to detail and to be quick to communicate when unforeseen circumstances arise. I firmly believe that our pets are our children and I can guarantee they will be treated with respect, love, and compassion while in my care. In my free time I enjoy hiking, climbing, yoga, and learning about bee keeping. I volunteer for a local rescue fostering kittens and have a passion for helping animals in need!

Kathy is an amazing caregiver! She has taken great care of my 2 special needs cats that require medication. She is very gentle and kind and both of my cats are very relaxed in her care when I'm away.

A typical day
I love playing fetch with dogs, even if they don’t know how I can teach them! For high energy dogs we can go on a jog. If your pet loves attention they will be sure to get a relaxing massage during our visit.

I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am available during the week and most weekends. I plan to travel on and off in the near future but when I am in town I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies!
