Pet care experience
I have cared for an trained my own family rescue dogs and cats for 19 years (3 dogs, 3 cats) I am an active volunteer at the Washington County Humane Society, working with both dogs and cats in a variety of settings and animal conditions I am the community pet walker/sitter in my own neighborhood, working with a variety of breeds of both dogs and cats I have worked with "vicious breeds" such as pit bulls, German shepherds, rottweilers, boxers, etc and I am happy to care for yours!

Our Rosie May was well taken care of; Katherine was very attentive. We plan to use her again.
Katherine did a wonderful job watching our three dogs while we were away. They each have their little quirks and she took care of them all really well. We got regular updates on how they were doing and a few photos of them while we were gone. Overall, we were really happy with how she took care of our dogs!
Katherine is a absolutely amazing sitter! My two labs are attention hogs and she handled them with love and ease for a week of house/dog sitting. She is professional, considerate and communicative! I highly recommend her for your pet needs! She will be my go to.

Please let me know any dietary restrictions, allergies, medications, disabilities or any other medical concerns a dog or cat has. I can work with an animal with medication conditions as long as I know what it is and how to you handle it! One thing to note- I am allergic to bunnies! If they are in their own space like a dedicated room to bunnies it would be okay but I can’t do free roam bunnies! For house sitting- my husband joins me but he unfortunately is allergic to dogs. If there can be a dog free room (preferably the bedroom we’ll be staying in) we would greatly appreciate it! For this reason, I only accept small dogs (under 15 pounds) or cats (or other nontraditional animals) for house sitting!
A typical day
We’ll play a bunch of games with toys as well as running at the dog park. We will go for a walk around the neighborhood and check out all the new smells! For cats, playing with interactive toys and scent puzzles as well as plenty of catnaps is on the schedule!

I currently work a part time job in Frederick, MD (long commute!) but will be switching to a full time job much closer in April! have my own cat that I care for on a daily basis. I am more than happy to care for your pets as well!
