Pet care experience
I have a pup of my own - I have volunteered in the past as much as I can around animal shelters because I love being around animals! Have fostered cats and have also grown up with horses dogs, cats and bunnies. Would love to help out in any way I can with your animal whether it's taking them out for a potty break (for dogs), drop in visits or always giving them the unconditional care they deserve! I am available on weekdays (mornings, lunch and after 5PM) for drop ins or walks and available on weekends the whole weekend unless I am out of town for any various reason. My calendar is always up to date unless something comes up last minute. My apartment has a small-medium fenced in grass area where other many dogs get to play around if needed to chill somewhere other than just go on a walk or if they needed some outdoor activity I could take the dog to a local dog park however I would want to make sure you are comfortable with this given I know dog parks aren’t for everyone :-)

Katherine was amazing with my anxiety prone dog - she was super patient with her and couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Also received lots of updates and pictures which was super appreciated. 10/10 would recommend Katherine for any dogsitting needs!
Katherine is wonderful! She’s been walking and sitting for my puppy Dottie for a few months now and always keeps me updated and sends lots of pictures. She’s a very caring person and cares for my pup likes it’s her own, like making sure she drinks water on a hot day or reporting when her behavior seems off. It was hard for me to start leaving my pup to go back to the office and Katherine has made the transition so much easier for both me and Dottie. We are lucky we found her!
one of our pups was a little growly and katherine was very patient and took her time and finally was able to get him to go on his walk.
Katherine was very communicative and sent lots of photos! It was great knowing my pup was in good and experienced hands.

I have a small fenced yard I could take the dog in for quick bathroom breaks, and also live close enough to walk to the dog parks nearby my area. For drop ins I will want to talk with you on how often you want me to take your pup out for a walk, but I usually just sit in and clean up/watch a movie and give all my attention towards your pet (dog or cat).

Any medicine, if they have any attachment conditions/anxiety, not good with any gender as they might be in contact via walks, are scared of cars, if they are responsive to a leash, if they are not good with other pets
A typical day
If comfortable, I would love to bring the dog to the beach, to my fenced in back yard so they can play, or the local dog parks nearby. I have toys at my place to play with your pup in my small fenced area pending how close I am to my apartment when I’m taking your dog on a walk! For cats (drop-ins), we can talk through what you are comfortable with! I love taking photos, so expect many :-)

Availability
I currently have a flexible work schedule (9-5 with ability to step away during the day if I have no calls) and my weekends are free, so I’d have a lot of time, attention and care to give towards your pet! I have to go into the office for 1 designated week a month. If this crosses over on days committed to you I will make sure to let you know in advance
