Where Pets are Treated like Family
Pet care experience
My name is Katherine. My love for pets is what sparked me to enter the wonderful world of pet sitting. I have been a dog walker/ pet sitter (many different animals and many different sizes ) for 5+ years, since I was 14. I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your "kids". I grew up with my own dog who had a lot of challenges which came with him so I am able to work with more challenging dogs. But I couldn't imagine my life without him. Pets bring so much joy and happiness . Seeing their little faces everyday just puts a smile on my face! I am a very athletic and enthusiastic person who enjoys the out doors and going on hikes aswell !!
Reviews
Katherine has never forgotten to walk the dogs or left my house unlocked, she has even brought parcels left by couriers into the garage for me! She is obviously an enthusiastic dog lover and my dogs are very fond of her, they also look forward to their walks with her. Overall she is motivated, trustworthy and very loveable, me and my family adore her as much as out dogs.
I am thrilled to provide an excellent testimony for Katherine, who recently dog sat for me. From the moment I met Katherine, I could tell she had a genuine love and passion for dogs. Her dedication and care towards my furry friend were exceptional. Katherine went above and beyond to ensure my dog felt comfortable and loved in her care. Throughout the entire dog sitting experience, Katherine displayed a high level of responsibility and professionalism. She followed all instructions diligently, making sure to adhere to my dog's feeding, exercise, and medication schedule. She even took the time to engage in playtime and provide ample attention and affection to my dog, creating a bond that was evident upon my return. Not only did Katherine prioritize my dog's physical well-being, but she also took great care in maintaining a safe and secure environment. She was vigilant in ensuring my dog's safety by attentively monitoring their surroundings and taking necessary precautions. I felt at ease knowing that my dog was in such capable hands. Katherine's communication skills were also commendable. She provided regular updates and photos, keeping me informed of my dog's activities and overall well-being. Her prompt and clear communication helped me feel connected and reassured throughout my time away. I highly recommend Katherine as a dog sitter to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy care for their beloved pets. Her genuine love for animals, responsible nature, and attention to detail make her an exceptional choice. I am incredibly grateful for the peace of mind she provided me and the wonderful care she gave to my dog. Thank you, Katherine, for your outstanding service!

Safety, trust & environment
Ensuring the safety of a dog while looking after them at the owner's home is of utmost importance to me. I would take several measures to create a safe environment for the dog. Firstly, I would carefully assess the home to identify any potential hazards such as toxic plants, loose wires, or household chemicals, and make sure these are out of reach. I would also ensure that all doors and gates are secure to prevent the dog from escaping. Additionally, I would follow the owner's instructions regarding the dog's feeding, medication, and any specific behavioral or medical needs they may have. Regular communication with the owner would be maintained to address any concerns or questions. Overall, my top priority would be to provide a safe and secure environment for the dog, giving the owner peace of mind while they are away.

A typical day
I always like to start the morning with a walk or playtime in case the dog is more shy so he can get used to me before going out on a walk. This is to ensure the dog gets some exercise and fresh air but also that he is comfortable in my presence . I know some great woodland places for nice walks and like to have the first walk of the day to be the longest I am also happy to take them on walks somewhere more local to you if you prefer. Throughout the day, feeding the dog at scheduled times and providing water is essential for their well-being. Regular bathroom breaks are necessary, along with monitoring their behavior and health. Engaging in interactive activities, such as training sessions or playing with toys, helps keep the dog stimulated and entertained and if cours if they like having lots of cuddles and strokes. In the evening I like to take them on a bit of a shorter walk about 30- an hour to wind them down then have some relaxing time back at the home . Depending on the dog I would extend the walks or make them shorter but I would always have 2-4 walks a day ranging from 30mins -2.5 hours a walk . It really dose depend on the type of dog and it’s specific needs :)
