Established Trainer & Care Provider

Hi, I’m Katie! 🐾 I’m a professional dog trainer and full-time pet care provider based in Leander, Texas. With over 7 years of experience in dog training and a lifetime of caring for animals, I bring a unique blend of professional knowledge and genuine love for pets to every client I work with. Along with my fiancé, I run a dog training business where we specialize in obedience, behavior modification, and even service dog training. At home, I share my life with several well-trained pups of my own, so I know first-hand how important structure, safety, and enrichment are for happy, healthy pets. When your pet stays with me, they’re welcomed into a safe, comfortable, and dog-friendly environment. I also offer daycare (Social Club), where dogs can enjoy structured play, socialization, and individual attention in a supervised setting. Whether your pet needs boarding, sitting, walks, or just some extra love while you’re away, you can trust they’ll be treated like family. Services Offered: Dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets (comfortable with ALL breeds & multiple pets) Drop-in visits include feeding, waste removal, walks, playtime, and medication administration (oral or injections) Dog sitting & boarding in a safe, supervised home Structured daycare (“Social Club”) for dogs needing socialization and play Basic home care while you’re away (plants, mail, trash/recycling) I pride myself on clear communication and dependable care, and I’m always happy to provide references upon request. Meet & Greets are free — I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Katie took such great care of my puppy for the week! She was easy to communicate with leading up to boarding and sent pictures every day. I was nervous to leave such a young puppy (4.5 mo) that she’d pick up bad behaviors while we were gone. But Katie is also a dog trainer and I felt very comfortable knowing that she had lots of experience with puppies and training. My pup came home happy and even better behaved than before!

My dog had really great time there. Katherine provided prompt updates on a regular basis. She was able to accommodate both my puppies in the last minute and took really great care of them with lots of playtime

Katie and Brian were awesome! So communicative and also very very flexible as we had fluctuating plans. They’re so knowledgeable about dogs overall and I will definitely be calling them again! Thank you for the flexibility, communication and for being so amenable!

Schedule

Pet care is truly part of my everyday life, it’s my full-time career and passion. I structure my days around caring for dogs through training, boarding, daycare, and sitting. My mornings start with feeding, potty breaks, and exercise, and throughout the day I rotate between training sessions, enrichment activities, playgroups, and walks. Evenings are focused on winding down with dinner, potty breaks, and plenty of cuddles before bedtime. Because this is my career, not just a side job, I’m always home and available to give pets the time, attention, and structure they need to feel safe and happy.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety and trust are my top priorities. Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m visiting yours, I make sure they’re cared for in a structured, supervised, and loving environment. In my home, dogs enjoy a safe, pet-friendly space with secure fencing, plenty of supervision, and structured playtime. I limit the number of dogs I host so everyone gets the individual attention they deserve. For daycare, I run a “Social Club” where dogs are grouped by play style and carefully monitored to keep play safe and positive. If I’m caring for pets in your home, I follow your routines closely to help them feel comfortable and secure. I’m respectful of your space and make sure pets get plenty of walks, exercise, enrichment, and snuggles — along with any special instructions you provide. With my background as a professional dog trainer, I naturally add structure and consistency to every interaction, so your pet not only feels safe but thrives while you’re away.

Pets

A typical day

I love keeping pets both happy and engaged while they’re in my care! Depending on each pet’s age, energy level, and personality, I’ll mix in fun activities like: Walks around the neighborhood or nearby trails Playtime with their favorite toys (fetch, tug, puzzle toys) Mental enrichment games to keep their brains busy Cuddle time and belly rubs for the snugglers Social play with other dogs in a safe, supervised setting (if appropriate) Since I’m also a professional dog trainer, I naturally weave in a little bit of structure and positive reinforcement during play. That way, pets go home not just tired, but happy and well-mannered too!

It’s important for me to know as much as possible so I can give your pet the very best care. Some things that are especially helpful include: Routines & preferences (feeding schedule, walk times, favorite toys/games) Medical needs (allergies, medications, past injuries, health concerns) Behavior quirks (nervous around new people, pulls on leash, resource guarding, reactivity, separation anxiety, etc.) Social history (comfortable with other dogs/cats, experience in group play, any restrictions) Training cues your pet already knows or is learning so I can stay consistent The more I know about your pet’s personality and needs ahead of time, the smoother and happier their stay will be!
