My experience ranges from walking, playing, feeding, overnight stays, and quick home visits. I’ve cared for mini terriers, pugs, labs, retrievers, cavapoos, dachshunds and more. Ages have ranged from 8 weeks to 14 years. On top of being a frequent dog sitter and walker over the years, I’ve spent majority of my life surrounded by dogs. I grew up with labs and previously owned a golden retriever. As a young teen, I started dog sitting for family friends when they went out of town. Through high school and college I dog sat for my moms co-worker, who eventually referred me to several of her friends. Many of my friends have dogs, so I now dog sit when they go out of town. My love of dogs runs deep, since I’ve spent so much of my life surrounded by them until this year. Unfortunately 2021 brought the death of our families 14 year old lab and I no longer have my golden due to a change in relationship. Dogs make life more enjoyable and I’ve always enjoyed caring for them, but don’t want to get another dog of my own until I know I can be home enough, so am hoping to help others take care of their furry friends in the meantime! I work from home Mondays and Fridays with a flexible schedule. Tuesdays through Thursday I work in the office, so am available before 8:30am or after 6pm. My weekends are typically open with no limitations. In my client’s homes, you set the standard and that is what will be followed. In my home, I’m experienced with crate training as well as allowing pets to sleep in my bed and on the couch.
