Hi! I’m Katie! I’ve always loved animals, even since I was a little kid. Growing up, I took care of my own pets, our 2 dachshunds, 1 cat, and a couple fish. Various families and friends have relied on me to take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even reptiles while away, tasking me with feeding, bathing, giving medicine, and walking their pets!

Katherine is super responsive and very helpful. I booked her due to an emergency situation and she responded and agreed to a booking on very short notice. She has been awesome with communicating and being flexible, and I’ve appreciated having her to check in my fur baby!
Katherine is a great person on Rover to work with! She was super flexible with my schedule and sent so many pictures of the dog walk which made me so happy obviously. She was very responsive and kind.!! Definitely recommend her! I booked her last minute now three times and she worked with me every time!
Katherine has been excellent! Communication is really good. She took great care of my dogs (15 year old Maltese and a 7 year old mutt) and I was able to go on my trip and have peace of mind. I definitely recommend her!

When pet sitting, I usually can check in at various times of the day to make sure everything is going well. I make sure things are clean, your fur baby is well fed, and typically play or interact with pets for exercise to ensure they are comfortable around me. I also love sending cute photos of your fur babies for you to enjoy while away!

A typical day
While watching your furry friend, I love to keep them busy and entertained while also having time to relax! I love to take dogs on hiking trails, or just on walks in the neighborhood as well. We can play fetch, or just play outside with your fur baby’s favorite toy. If we aren’t exercising, we’ll be relaxing inside as I make sure to give you fur baby lots of love and pets!

I am currently enrolled at Appalachian State University as a freshman, so most of my free time is spent doing schoolwork or just hanging out! I live on campus, so I’m pretty close to the heart of boone! I have plenty of free time to help care for your furry friends and give them the love they deserve!
