Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and love playing and training and snuggling them. I’ve trained puppies, worked with senior dogs and rescues with behavior challenges, and have a soft spot for the “bully” breeds. I have a wide range of experiences with dogs of all sizes and kinds, and I prioritize the dogs happiness and comfort, as well as consistency with your normal life as much as possible. I don’t have any animals of my own right now, so I can dedicate my full attention to your fur baby with no distractions.

Katherine is awesome. She has stayed at our house and walked our two pups multiple times. She goes above and beyond to care for our babies, asks the right questions, and is extremely dependable and trustworthy. One of our pups is a real trouble maker, and Katherine is super patient and cares for her so well. She is our go-to sitter, and we’re so lucky to have found her!
Katherine is spectacular! Animals loved her and she is a wonderful house guest. She is really communicative and look forward to having her pet sit again
Katherine stayed overnight in our home and did an amazing job with our reactive dog, Max. She made sure that Max got all the love while we were away. She was very responsive and left our house cleaner than we did. We would absolutely hire Katherine again.

I’m happy for any breed/size/needs, but I a have a soft spot in my heart for bully breeds and rescue mutts. I’ve worked with senior dogs, puppies, reactive dogs, and everything in between. I always appreciate knowing what routines and command words your dog is used to so we can aim for consistency, and any special needs. I’m don’t shy away from working with young or reactive dogs, but I always appreciate knowing what those triggers might be, and where your training is at for any unwanted behaviors so that I can be sure to help your dog be the best doggo on the block.
A typical day
I love to make sure your pups are happy and comfortable. We take some time to get to know each other, and I’ll always stick as close to your routine as possible! If they like physical activity, we can go on hikes nearby or swims with my paddle board together, if they prefer more mental stimulation we can play games or learn new tricks!

Availability
I work remotely and with a very flexible schedule, so I can take plenty of breaks to play and fit my work around your pets schedule needs! I’m active and hike regularly, so I love keeping your high energy dog exercised and occupied as my adventure buddy! If you have an older, injured, or low-key floof that needs a slower pace, I’m always a sucker for some movie night snuggles and learning new tricks instead.
