Hi hello! My name is Katherine -- I've had a genuine love for animals for as long as I can remember, and a willingness to care for them with patience/compassion. I always grew up with animals and currently have a 2 year old Goldendoodle named Sage that I raised since she was 8 weeks old. Here are some special skills and experience I possess: 1. Training puppies - Socialize and develop good habits in puppies. 2. Medical knowledge - Background in administering medication and dealing with emergencies. 3. Communication skills - Clear communication channels and provides regular updates to the pet owner.

Katherinet ook great care of our dog, Valkyrie. Shesent us pictures to keep us updated and gave Valkyrie plenty of walks along with lots of affection. Going forward, we will definitely be using Katherine (when she's available) as Valkyrie's permanent sitter and dog-walker. 10/10 would reccomend Katherine to anyone looking for someone to look after their furry friend.
After spending about 3 days with Katherine, my dog was faithfully returned to me essentially just the way I left her- harmoniously happy and well spirited. Of course, I attribute this to the tender loving care provided by Katherine. She exudes an obvious empathy for animals and virtually adopts them as her own. I feel fortunate to have come across her. I might add that she is a very proactive communicator and never leaves you wondering about that status of your pet. This is all one could ever ask for when separated from your pet. I would definitely employ her services again, as this would be a "no-brainer!"
Katherine's yard is perfect for letting dogs out. Easy to communicate with and sends lots of pictures!
Katherine has cared for our dogs on more than one occasion. She has gone out of her way to care for our elderly dog and a smaller dog, who can be quite a challenge! I have always felt comfortable and completely at ease with Katherine. I would definitely recommend her.

I live in an apartment complex with no backyard, but I have a front porch and am located close to the beach and local parks.

Breed: To understand energy levels, grooming needs, temperament, etc. 2. Age 3. Health history 4. Training history: What commands they know and what kind of training methods have been used. 5. Socialization: How your dog has been socialized with people and other animals. 6. Exercise needs 7. Diet 8. Grooming needs: What kind of grooming the dog needs and how often it should be done.
A typical day
Fun activities I like to do with dogs I'm watching include: 1. Playing fetch or w/ other toys. 2. Hiking: If they're up for it, I love going to Mission Trails Regional Park or on shorter hiking trails in La Jolla. 3. Doggy playdates: If your dog is able, I'd love to have a playdate with my dog, who is very friendly and social. 4. Swimming: I live between Mission Bay and Mission Beach, so I can always take the dogs swimming on a hot day or to play fetch in the water. 5. Dog parks: Ocean Beach Dog Beach, Fiesta Island, Del Mar Dog Beach, etc.
