Pet care experience
I'm very passionate about animals of every species especially companion animals. My passion for animals was so great that I spent several years in college studying companion and livestock species before graduating from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Animal Science. Throughout high school and college I gained experience pet sitting for neighbors as a fun way to earn extra cash. I grew up with a plethora of pets and have experience with puppies, kittens, and older animals as well.

Katherine did such a wonderful job housesitting our dog for 4 days! She went above and beyond, every photo she sent our boy looked happy and healthy, she took him on walks and made sure we knew how it was going regularly. She was respectful of our home, very professional and has a caring and very calm demeanor, which was perfect for our dog who often gets nervous around new people. She knows what she is doing taking care of animals and we cannot recommend her highly enough!
Punctual, kind, and great with my older dog.
We have used many house sitters on Rover but Katherine has been by far the absolute best. She took great care of our fur babies and home while we were away for 5 days. I’m not even sure our dogs noticed we were gone. Katherine sent pictures every day and we felt completely at peace while we were away. Highly recommend her to anyone and we would definitely use her again. She even washed bed sheets and towels before she left, because she didn’t want us to have to worry about it when we got home from our vacation. Very professional and very easy to work with.
Katherine was outstanding! She made my husband and I feel so relaxed and confident when we were on vacation due to her effective communication, which included fun photos and daily updates. We were apprehensive about using Rover, but we can’t say enough great things about our pet & house sitting experience with Katherine. Highly recommend!

I have a fenced in backyard and I am home at all times currently. The only pet in my home is my childhood dog, Pepper, who enjoys sleeping the majority of the day since he is 13 years old. He's only six pounds and gets along well with other animals!

A typical day
I love to keep pets entertained by taking them on long walks to explore nearby parks and provide a change of scenery for the animal. If I'm watching a dog for an extended period of time a trip to Starbucks for a pup cup is a must!

I'm a recent college graduate searching for remote employment, so I currently have open availability. Everyday I walk a minimum of five miles, so long walks are my specialty!
