Hi there! I am a recent law school grad currently studying for the bar. While I do not have enough time to take on part time/full time job, I figured I could combine my love of animals with the free time I DO have when not studying and that's what brings me here to Rover! I have 1 dog and 2 cats and love ALL animals. I have been called an "animal whisperer" by friends and family because I am great with all animals and they tend to be very responsive to my energy for some reason! I am extremely attentive and compassionate and would love the opportunity to take care of your furry family members! I know from experience how horrific boarding at a kennel can be (both for pets AND their guilt-laden owners!). In order to reduce stress on your pets- who are already stressed from missing you terribly!- it is best to keep them in a familiar environment with a loving caretaker and I am here to ensure that transition is as seamless as possible! I typically like to meet with my clients/their owners prior to their departure to make sure I'm well acclimated with both and have a clear understanding of your pet's personality and needs. I always go above and beyond and am more than happy to send you pictures/videos of your fur baby to ease the pain of being away from them. I have TONS of experience pet sitting/walking and am smart, dependable, honest and caring. If this sounds like a good match for your pet, please let me know so we can set up a preliminary meeting. Katie is an amazing person who stepped in at the last minute to help me out in a pinch with extremely short notice. She made time to fit in a meet and greet when it was convenient for me. She made me feel very confident in being able to leave my puppy in her care because I could really tell from the very beginning how much she truly loves animals. She was very flexible with her schedule, even when I had to change my plans at the last minute. She even went out her way to make sure I got a refund even after I told her she didn't have to go through the trouble! I think Katie went above and beyond with the care she gave my puppy. Not only did she walk her to make sure she went to the bathroom and fed and watered her, she also made sure she had plenty of play time too. Knowing how much my puppy loves to play with other dogs, Katie brought her own little dog over a few times just so my puppy could play with her. Katie also figured out how to use a cool feature on rover.com where it shows me the route of where they walked, what they did on the walk and some pictures. Very cool! I am so happy. I will definitely ask Katie to take care of Blue again. I just hope she is available!
Katherine is the best! I had her check in on my cats while I was away, and I had no worries while she was there! She took videos and pictures each visit, and made me feel at ease while I was away. I didn't stress one bit about my boys being left in her care. I definitely recommend Katherine and she is already my "go-to" girl when it comes to my pets.
I lived with Katherine for two years while we were in college together, and during that time she adopted a puppy named Stewie whom she still loves and cares for. Katherine was an amazing mother to Stewie - she showered him with love and kisses, fed him premium food, and made to sure to take him to the vet as soon as he showed symptoms of feeling unwell. Katherine is a wonderful mother to all of her pets (Stewie and her two cats), and I recommend her without hesitation. If we lived closer to one another, I would hire her to walk my puppy as well!
Katherine is a wonderful dog sitter. We have used her several times as a sitter for our dog throughout the years. She is responsible, always keeping us informed of our dog's activities. She sends us text pictures and videos of our beloved Althea playing in the yard. She always brings approved treats for Althea. She has a passion for animals and it is evident by how happy our dog is when she is in her care. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter.

-I have standard questions I like to ask each owner before sitting so I can make sure you and your pup have the very best experience possible! (i.e. vet info, allergy info, favorite toy/treat, unique daily routines you share with your dog, favorite outdoor play/walk areas, any phobias like thunder etc, ) -I like to engage pups with LOTS of walks/play- good for your dog to get outdoor stimulus (and good for me to walk a lot!) -I like be hands on with dogs and show them lots of affection! Some dogs enjoy cuddles, others only feel comfortable with a nice scratching under the chin, each dog has different ways/limits to how they show affection and I am great at reading them! -I like to talk to dogs. Not only does it make our time together more engaging, but I firmly believe dogs understand the intonation in the way we communicate. If you're excited you're dog will sense it from your tone and get psyched up too! -I love to send pics/videos to owners (unless they request otherwise).
