Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong animal lover with 10+ years’ experience pet-sitting for friends and family, including experience with elderly animals and with administering medications. I love hanging out with animals, and I can’t wait to come care for your pup or kitty! While my experience tends towards cats (I was raised in a cat household and have a kitty of my own) I have lots of experience caring for dogs, too (including the Aussie I currently live with)!

Katherine did a great job watching my 3 cats and one dog. My cats are elderly so she had to deal with more than normal for cat sitting and I am sorry but totally appreciate everything. Everyone warmed up to her after a few visits which says something. I would definitely recommend Katherine.

I am also sensitive to the importance of privacy and confidentiality (my day job involves working with rare disease patients, which necessarily requires consideration of these subjects). If I am watching your dog while you are out of town, please provide information about their feeding schedule, and if relevant, any medications.
A typical day
I love to go exploring with pups! We’ll go on walks around the neighborhood to check out new and familiar smells - and if it’s a good fit for your pup, we might go on a local hike, too. I am also a big fan of playtime. Depending on what your pup likes we’ll run around outside, play some fetch, and have a blast going through the toy bin. Your pup can also expect lots of pets and hugs (assuming they’re open to it!)

Availability
I am generally available for drop-in visits and walks before 9a and after 5p on weekdays, and in the morning, afternoon, and evening on weekends. If you are looking for a sitter at a different time I can sometimes adjust my schedule, so please let me know!
