Pet care experience
I am a huge dog lover! I have a dog of my own named Captain and he is my baby. I will definitely make sure that every dog gets lots of attention and are well cared for. I am very energetic and so the dogs will receive plenty of play time and frequent water breaks. I am decent at training dogs to do tricks and have taught my dog a couple tricks. It's completely up to the dogs whether they feel like doing something energetic like playing in the back yard or just relaxing in the A/C and I will be flexible to whatever mood they're in. I am free from the 9th to the 15th and I go back to college on the 16th. I also have a part time job but i am definitely willing to talk to anyone about scheduling! I firmly believe that dogs are really just like kids in how they need lots of attention and love and that I have lots of love to go around for your fur babies!

I know Katie through her Mom and Dad. We are old college friends. Katie is a kind, loving and sweet woman. She is fun and outgoing and genuinely cares about others. I know how much she loves her own fur baby and I believe she would do a wonderful job taking care of others pets and treat them with the same loving care she shows to her dog.
She’s so sweet and down to earth. Her being a dog sitter would probably mean more to the dogs than her honestly. She’d love them like her own.
Katherine is a very loving fur baby “mama”. She has cared for her dog “Captain” for several years; feeding, watering, walking, training and playing with him, but most of all, loving him!
Katie is super good with animals and very reponsible. She will follow through with anything she promises. Id trust her with my cats or dog anyday.

I would like to know if the dog has any special allergies or if they don't like being picked up because I like to pick dogs up and might have to if i need to move them away from something they shouldn't be getting into. Are they social with other dogs or do they prefer not to be around other dogs? Are they allowed on the couch?
A typical day
We will play outside if you have a backyard and play fetch until it gets too hot and we need to go inside. I can also pick up poop in the back yard for 5 dollars more! I will make sure to play tug of war with the bigger dogs that like to pull because it's better that they play tug of war with a rope toy than with your shoes! And for dogs that just want to relax inside we will snuggle and i'll give lots of belly rubs and maybe teach them a trick or two!
