Pet care experience
Hi! I would love to be your dog's new best friend! I believe dogs have the purest souls and each and every one should be treated to a life full of fetch, belly rubs, treats, and lots of walks. I have a fur baby of my own that brings so much joy to my life. He is four years old and I have served as his primary caretaker since he was a puppy. From vet visits, to trips to the park, and a regular feeding/walking schedule, I have covered all the ground that comes with being a dog owner. I am comfortable handling both small and large dogs and am happy to accommodate any extra/special needs (i.e. regular medications, longer or shorter walks, etc) your fur babies may have.

I always do my best to observe your dog in their natural habitat, if you will, and adapt to their needs and/or routine. My goal is to keep their situation as normal and happy for them as possible since they are no doubt missing their families :)
Information Katherine L. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know what fears the dog has (i.e. other dogs, thunder, being around water) so we can avoid any triggers. I would also like to have an idea of their regular daily schedule so I can keep them on their same routine. And it would be great to know some of their favorite toys & treats as well! I am open to all breeds except Rottweilers.
A typical day
We will go on walks in the dog's own neighborhood to keep them in a familiar setting but I am happy to take them to the park as well if they enjoy playing there! We can play fetch with a ball or frisbee or simply just walk around and sniff everything!

Availability
I currently work nights at a restaurant a few days per week. My days are free and when I'm at work, I'm gone for no more than seven hours at a time. On nights I have to work, I will always prioritize making sure your pup is well fed and has had a nice walk before then.
