Pet care experience
I have been surrounded by amazing pets since I was born. My family has never been without any dogs, and I could not be more thankful for my furry best friends (two adorable goldens named Jackson and Rosie). Since high school, I have helped cared for other families dogs, and continued to do so while I was in college. Whether it was a simple walk and trip to the dog park, to staying over and caring/bathing the pups for an extended period of time, I have done it all for over 8 years now and have loved every second of it. I know caring for pups is a lot of hard work and I like to make it as fun as I can for both myself and the little (or big) ball of fur I’m with at the time.

If helicopter moms were a thing for dogs...I'd fit the bill perfectly. I'm SUPER picky about who I leave my pup with. That being said, after first meeting Katie I had no doubt that she'd take great care of my fur baby. Her energy is bright and genuine, and my dog IMMEDIATELY connected with her. I take my dog's opinions of people more seriously than I probably should, and the fact that she adored Katie from the get-go was huge for me. Every time my I get to see my pup after she hangs out with Katie, it's like she has an extra pep in her step...and she's an old, chunky girl so that really says something. I'm so incredibly thankful we got matched with Katie! She's been a god-send and eases my anxiety by roughly 10000%.
Katie was an outstanding dog sitter! I have a 6 year old doodle named Tony and had to leave for a night so I got her number through a friend. She was very professional and made sure my baby was fed on time, got some play time, and taken on active walks! Katie reported that Tony was very playful and obedient and everything went smoothly. I will definitely be using her again!
Katherine has done a wonderful job taking care of my sweet boy grizzly for the last couple years. Griz deals with separation anxiety as well as epilepsy and Katherine had done an incredible job making him feel safe and comfortable whilst in her care. I cannot recommend her more highly.
Katherine has been a godsend in the past with my two pups! Not only does she go above and beyond with taking them for walks and plenty of outdoor play, but she gives them a ton of the attention and love when they are home as well! She treats my pups as if they were her own! I would 100% recommend Katherine to watch your pets, anytime!

Although we do not have a fenced yard, we have a lovely field and lead that allows animals who are not fully trained off-leash to enjoy the outdoors without being stuck at the hip to me. My two goldens are very friendly and love to make new friends! They are also very active, so we have plenty of toys to keep the dogs both happy and entertained. I like to know what the owners prefer when it comes to caring for their pup, and am more than willing to accommodate any special requests. Whatever you prefer, I am capable of pulling off!

A typical day
I love to keep the dogs I watch active and engaged. Other than nice long walks, I love to bring the pups to the local dog park so they can socialize with other dogs. At the end of my neighborhood is a huge field that my dogs love to explore, and I have no doubt your dog would love it too! It's also a joy to head down to the pond we have so the pups can take a swim. I enjoy filling the afternoon with lots of adventures and games, for both myself and the dogs.

I am currently teaching locally, so I am available after school hours (3 pm onward) as well as on weekends. Once the school year ends, I’ll be available daily from the morning into the evening to care for your adorable pets!
