Just a vet student missing her pups
Pet care experience
I’ve spent my entire life around animals small and large, and I am currently a student at Tuskegee University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. I’ve spent time taking care of animals for a kennel as well as house sitting! I’ve spent a years being around different animals that are nervous in a vet clinic and have experience keeping them calm. At home, I take care of two inside dogs (under 15 pounds) as well as an outside dog (70 pounds). I also take care of an outside cat. I enjoy spending time playing with dogs and cats, especially fetch and soccer! I’ve trained my own dogs, including house training when they were puppies, so young dogs that need help learning to go outside do not intimidate me! I’ve had to clean up all types of messes when it comes to pets and am fully capable to take care of any pet!

Katherine did a wonderful job taking care of our older dog while we were away for a few days. Our dog can be a bit of a diva, but Katherine handled her with grace and compassion. We appreciated the periodic pictures and updates as they set our mind at ease. We will definitely hire Katherine again for future dog sitting needs! We really appreciate her professionalism andcommon sense, and Josie clearly adores her!
Katherine is an excellent sitter. We felt fully confident having her in our home. She is patient, mature, capable, and kind. She knows how to handle all types of dogs and canine behavior. Our Boxer was delighted with her. He gets scared during thunderstorms, and Katherine made sure to give us an update when the storm was booming. Also she came to meet us prior to the sitting appointment, which really eased our sense of security.
