Ever since I was small I've always had a dog. Dogs are truly part of the family. They deserve exercise, socialization, and most of all your undivided love and attention. I am a teacher and value my time off in the summer but would find it very rewarding to help care for dogs when I can. I have an Australian Shepherd mix named Wrigley. He is 8 1/2 years old and a very sweet well behaved dog. We put in an invisible fence when he was a puppy which was the best thing we ever did because he gets plenty of exercise and freedom. We also make it a priority to take him on daily walks around our quiet neighborhood. I love him with all my heart.
