Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and cats alike, looking after my own pets, neighbours pets and my friends/families pets. I have years of experience of caring for dogs of all different ages and breeds. I have also helped my granddad to train two gun dogs (both black labradors) who excelled in their roles. Not only do I strive for perfection when looking after an animal, I also strive for making their experience more comfortable and fun. If they are happy, I am happy!

Thank you Katie for taking such good care of "The Gurls" while I was away. I would recommend Katie without hesitation, she has empathy but also knows how to keep a slightly willful 5 year old Border Collie under her instructions (which takes patience). The Gurls were well looked after, happy in their own environment and enjoyed the long walks.
Katherine was an excellent dog sitter, she came to meet Dutch on advance so that he would be familiar with her. She was confident, kind and gentle. Dutch was happy in her company and settled well after we left. Katherine sent us a message and a picture of him asleep, early on in her stay to let us know he was ok.

I live in a very safe village with the majority of residents here owning their own dogs. There are plenty of safe areas for walks, including fields and woody paths. I know from my experience that making the pet feel as they do with the people they see and love the most is the best way to ensure they have a great experience! I will ensure that your pets feel as loved and cared for as they deserve ❤️

A typical day
I love to hike and go on long walks regularly so having a dog is great for me! I love to take dogs to the big fields near my house, along the beaches, through the woodland trails and even to Brockbottoms sometimes if they're up for it! Playing fetch is always a shout, and I love to entertain dogs with different games to keep them interested!

Availability
I currently work part-time with my hours ranging from 10-50 hours weekly, it's a very flexible role and also very easy to get to! I love long walks and would love a pup to take with me!! I am available for dog sitting, in the day or evening and I'm also available for walks.
