Pet care experience
I started riding horses when I was 5 years old, and since then I have always been an animal lover! Growing up at the stables taught me all about animals (big and small), working hard and responsibility. As soon as I was in middle school I began watching dogs (and many other animals including horses, cats, chickens, birds, reptiles, etc.) for many families around my neighborhood. Including working at the stables and pet sitting around the neighborhood, my family also had multiple guinea pigs and a cat while I was growing up that I was responsible for. With a lifetime of love for my personal and others animals I cannot wait to meet and make friends with you and your amazing pets! Thanks so much!

Katherine and I met in college 7 years ago, and recently were roommates for the past 2 years until I moved back home to finish school! I had Milo, my half German Shepard half Husky living with us, and had the most insane crazy schedule with working and school, and Katherine was so amazing helping out with Milo! She would take him out for potty/walk breaks in the evenings and on weekends, go for runs on back bay, fun days at the dog beach in Huntington, outdoor lunch dates at Urth Cafe, the dog park, and many other great activities! She is the biggest sweetheart, funny, athletic, and trustworthy friend, and Milo and I miss her very much! Best, Lauren
I've known Katherine for 4 years now, and when I got my puppy Ruger in July of last year she was almost more excited than I was! It was a no brainer to ask her to watch him when I was out of town for the weekend or was staying late at work. Whenever I would get home after she had watched him he was exhausted from all of the fun activities they would do together (dog park, hiking, shopping at Fashion Island, etc.) and it was so great to know that he had the best day! I recently moved out of state, and Ruger is staying with my dad down in SoCal, and she is still our go to gal! Happy, energetic, athletic, and overall awesome!

Everything! Safety is key. I want to make sure the dog is an comfortable as possible. I need to know what their schedule is normally throughout the day, food preferences, sleeping schedule, and any health conditions/food allergies. Additionally, I would love to know if they are good around other adults, kids, and dogs.
A typical day
This definitely depends on the dog, but I love to stay active! If the dog enjoys walks, runs, dog parks, or the dog beach I am willing and able for all of those amazing activities. I am also more than happy to have a mellow day at home or walking around Fashion Island if your dog is not up for a day of activities.
