Pet care experience
I grew up with animals, and it was love at first sight. I always knew I wanted to hang out with all the animals, and since we couldn't really have more than 3 at home, I found other ways to care for them. I volunteered at animal shelters in middle school, and then went on to pet sitting more as I was in college. I have cared for a large variety of pets: dogs, cats, hedgehogs, chickens, fish, and tortoises. I have puppy sat as young as 12 weeks, and have cared for senior cats as old as 21. I have experience with high needs pets, such as leash aggressive, anxious pups, and administering medications.

Katherine is pure magic when it comes to animal caretaking. My two cats absolutely adore her, and I swear they want me to go out of town more so they can get more Katherine time. Whenever I come home from a trip my cats are just as relaxed as if I had been home the whole time and that is the highest praise I can think of from a cat! Katherine will send me text photo updates and they’re cuddling with her and having a great time. Even better Katherine is incredibly mindful when it comes to taking care of your home as well. Everything is clean and tidy and my cats are happy when I get home, she’s the only person I trust anymore now that I can be away from home worry-free!
Katherine has been pet/house sitting for us for about 6 years. She has become an extended part of our family. She *may* love our animals even more than we do. I love that Katherine doesn’t need a lot of direction. Has a ton of common sense and can figure things out for herself without disrupting our vacation AND as a bonus takes the best pictures of our fur babes! Some of my favorite pictures of them are the ones Katherine took! We are so grateful Katherine is in our lives and that we can go on vacation knowing our babes are in the very best competent loving hands! We can not recommend a pet sitter more highly!
Katherine is a dog whisperer! She is amazing with my highly reactive dog, Ruby. Ruby loves her long walks with Katherine several times a week. Katherine also dogsits for me quite often and I trust her to watch the dog, cat and my house. I've recommended Katherine to neighbors and friends because she is so tremendous!
Katherine has been a long time dog walker and sitter of our now senior pup (and I’ve known her for years before that too). Katherine is exceedingly responsible, communicative, and has a good sense with animals. I trust her explicitly in our home and with our neurotic first born.

My goal is to make it as easy as possible for your pet while you are away, and try to stick to whatever routine you usually have with them. I provide walks, plenty of play time, snuggles, and whatever else they need. I also do regular housesitting tasks, such as plant watering, mail checks, and whatever else is needed.

Availability
I currently work part time in the service industry, so I have created ample time to hang out with all my furry friends! I work 2-3 days a week in the early mornings, and am free after 1:30pm. I usually have some pups I walk a few times a week, but these times are always flexible around wherever/whenever I am pet sitting.
