Dogs have been in my life and family since I was a young kid, but I have six years of experience dog sitting and being the primary carer for family or personal dogs. I’ve had good success with positive reinforcement skills training with my own dog, and am happy to work on those skills with visiting pups!

We have a big walled-in back yard, but even so I always supervise doggy potty and play time out back (and pick up after the pooches immediately). There’s plenty of room to run and fetch and zoomie! Inside there’s plenty of couch space, dog beds, and AC to snooze in.

Let me know if your dog is generally friendly with another small dog, if they like to share toys or prefer solo play, and if they are likely to resource guard. My dog, Jip, is pretty understanding of other dogs wanting a break.
A typical day
My dog, Jip, has lots of toys and puzzles and he likes to share. We can play fetch and tug inside, or play chase and fetch in the back yard. There are plenty of spaces for snoozing once we're all tuckered out, and open crates and puppy gates if we need a little solo "don't bother me" time.

I am currently working a very flexible part time job as a substitute teacher, so I can accommodate plenty of schedules on fairly short notice.
