Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs all my life and have a real soft spot for these furry little creatures. I have fostered little puppies and older dogs, both big and small, through various Humane Societies on multiple occasions, and, in recent years, adopted one of them (yes, I foster failed!) - she's a little terrier mix named Olive.

Katherine is wonderful with dog! Our beagle is always thrilled to go to Katherine's house for doggie daycare. I am always confident that our dog is being well taken care of and gets plenty of attention. Katherine takes her on a few walks a day so she gets plenty of exercise. Our beagle also enjoys a lot of playtime with the other dogs in the group. I feel extremely fortunate to have found someone as caring and responsible as Ketherine.
Katherine took great care of my two pups for a day! It was easy to coordinate pickup and drop off times and she was very responsive to answering any questions I had.
Left our pup with Katherine and olive while we were gone for 10 days. She took excellent care of him and was very accommodating to our schedule. Wilson came back happy and healthy!

I treat all four-legged guests equally in my home and am mindful of the special needs that each one may have, whether it's a high-energy puppy needing lots of play time, a senior pup needing a little extra patience, or an anxious pup needing a little extra attention on their first visit away from home. If your dog is staying overnight, I will make sure your dog feels comfortable while you are away and will send lots of pictures as well (I've had to board Olive on several occasions, so I know how valuable these updates are to the parents' peace of mind). Information Katherine G. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best possible care for your pets, it's paramount that I am informed about any special needs, care instructions and personality traits of your dog, including disposition towards other people and animals. It is also helpful for me to know about your pup's leash habits, eating habits, sleeping habits, pooping habits, energy level, etc.
A typical day
While staying with me, your dog will go on long walks throughout my neighborhood, including the arboretum, which is just a couple blocks away. Since my own fur baby is a little older now, she generally prefers to sleep during the day (mostly when I work) over play time with other dogs but she is very generous and is willing to share her toys with friends. After work is when we usually go on our long walks (weather permitting). If your dog has any specific needs, routines or favorite activities, we can incorporate them into our routine.

I currently work from home and have built a routine around taking care of my dog, including taking her on walks 2-3 times a day, providing regular feedings, and spoiling her with love and affection. Because of this existing routine, I have found it fairly easy to welcome other pets into my home.
