Pet care experience
I grew up in a house full of animals and have always felt at ease with them - whether they are energetic and playful young puppies, or sensitive and calm old-timers. While living in NYC, I volunteered at a no-kill shelter called Bide-a-wee where I spent my days socializing and training dogs and cats until they could move into permanent, happy homes. As I take night classes to earn my graduate degree, I look forward to being able to provide care for animals whose owners work during the day or go on vacation.

Katherine is fantastic! She is very reliable and professional. My dog gets so excited when she comes to walk him. I needed a dog walker with pretty short notice due to my work hours getting longer. Katherine really saved the day for us. We will definitely continue to use her services in the future.
Katherine is AMAZING with Zeus. He is very comfortable with her, which is a huge relief when we leave him.

Katherine was so awesome with our very big German Shepherd Zeus. This was the first time leaving Zeus and he can be very protective of our home. German Shepherds have a very good sense of character and Zeus liked Katherine right away at the meet and greet. This made me feel very comfortable choosing Katherine to be our sitter. Not only does Katherine have a very gentle nature, she is also very detailed and professional. Katherine was exactly what we were hoping for in a sitter for Zeus. I am also a Rover sitter and I have been referring Katherine out to some of my clients that I am unable to sit for, one of whom is a personal friend as well. Katherine is very responsible and trustworthy, she is amazing!!!!

I live in a beautiful tree-lined neighborhood that is full of parks, plus I have a nice fenced-in backyard that is great for playing or just laying in the grass. Coming from several years in NYC, I love going on long walks and runs, bird- and squirrel-watching, and just being outside.
