Pet care experience
I’ve been pet sitting/dog walking since I was a teen. I have a 2 year background as a veterinary assistant/technician. Neighbors, friends and family members have relied on me to walk, bathe, feed and watch over their pets, giving them peace of mind while they are away. I have two dogs of my own. I have a 5 year old cattle dog mix named Luna, and a 3 year old Catahoula leopard dog named Xena. Xena had to have surgery on both of her knees with an 8 week recovery per surgery. With this experience on top of my experience working in the veterinary field, I am quite comfortable caring for pets who are on medications and/or are recovering from procedures.

Katherine would be nothing but an asset to your team. In the time I have known her, she has shown nothing but love for her animals and other's pets. Katherine has been asked on many occasions to pet sit for our family. I only trusted Katherine to keep my 15 year old English Setter (Memphis). Katherine gave her much love and care on the many occasions we were out of town. Memphis was on many medications due to her old age and Katherine lovingly administered her She even went out of her way to take Memphis to a doggie spa one morning to have some pampering. I can't recommend enough how Katherine would be an avid and exceptional addition to your company. It would not surprise me at all if once she started and word starts spreading that she will be constantly requested for caregiving.
Katherine is a very caring and responsible caretaker for all pets! I worked alongside her for a long time at an animal hospital and have observed how well she does with dogs and cats alike, she knows how to approach, handle, and love them all! I would hire Katherine anyday to petsit for me!

A typical day
I like to stimulate pets mentally and physically. We will play lots of games, go for walks, check out all the new smells. I also give lots of snuggle time to pets who really love to be loved on!

Availability
I currently work a full time job. My hours are Monday- Friday, 9 AM-5PM. As long as I am not at work, I will have availability to care for your fur babies! During the work day, I will be able to take breaks if needed to do check-in visits or a quick walk.
