ANIMAL ENTHUSIAST!!!
Pet care experience
Living in Maine has made me miss the animal friends I grew up with at my parents house- which has included dogs, cats, horses, rodents, and fish. Not only do I appreciate the nurturing I can provide by taking care of them, I thrive off of the love and affection they show back to me. I have found each pet I have owned has a unique personality which is exciting to get to know. Pet sitting will be perfect because while I cannot own my own pet right now, I miss caring for them and Rover provides a happy medium. I also love exercise and look forward to adventuring with the pups. I also love cats!!! I am looking forward to getting to know the animals as well as their owners throughout this experience!

We were really happy with Kate and we never even met her face to face! Our initial meeting was a FaceTime chat and video tour of our home complete with a meet and FaceTime greet with our two kitties. Often when we leave, our cats will become anxious and pee where they oughtn’t but when we returned we were so happy to find that Kate’s daily visits had quelled their fears and they were quite chill upon our return! No protest peeing whatsoever, thanks to Kate! Well done Kate and looking forward to having you visit our home and beloved fur babies in the future!
I have known Katherine (Kate) Drew for over 20 years. She has a deep love for and respect of all animals, especially canines! She’s experienced in puppies through geriatric dogs and treats all ages with kindness, compassion, and an eye for what is best for the individual animal. I have no doubt that Kate will be an exceptional, loving, responsible dog caregiver.
Kate is an amazing young lady and an even more amazing dog caretaker! She is practically a dog whisperer. Her smile can turn a blood thirsty pitbull into a cuddly bear. My two dogs love when Auntie Kate comes over to let them out, scratch their bellies, throw snowballs for them to chase, anything!!! Even while waiting tables at Mirabelles, you can always spot a bulge in Kate's back pocket where she keeps little biscuits to give to the goodest little doggos walking by on Main Street. This did backfire one time when she was walking to work and got bit in the butt by a passing pooch, but she still managed to befriend this hungry buddy. Moral of the story: Kate loves all animals and my dogs love her. She is always reliable to let them out and take them on walks and they usually cry when she leaves.
