Pet care experience
I’ve been a pet sitter on Rover since 2019 (5+ years), and I loved every second of it! Through this app, I’ve been giving the opportunity to met wonderful pet parents, adorable furry friends, and gain extensive knowledge regarding pet care through working for Rover. A little background about me and my experience with animals: I grew up riding horses so I was constantly around various types of animals at the barn. Thus, this developed my deep passion and love for animals. With over a decade of dedicated care for cats, dogs, and other furry friends, I bring a wealth of experience and a nurturing touch to every furry friend I meet. Rest assured, your pet will be in great hands while in my care!

Katherine was great with our boys! She kept in communication and followed all of our instructions - our house was clean and the boys were so happy when we came home. Will definitely be using Katherine in the future!!
She did a wonderful job.
I was really disappointed to come home to disgusting amount of pee and poop, which tells me our dogs weren’t let out often during our 5 day trip. Also, the only time I was updated during the stay was when I would ask how they were doing. I would have liked at least one update per day.
Katherine did a great job watching our pups while we were away!

Please let me know, if your dog or cat is on a special diet or needs medication or has some sort of allergies. Let me know if I have to do some sort of cleaning up maintenance regarding picking up poop from your backyard, how often the litter box needs to be cleaned. (Things of that nature). Also how frequent you would like me to send photos and updates on your precious pet/pets! I’m committed to taking care of your pet/pets properly so please let me know of anything you think I would need to know!
A typical day
I love to take my clients dogs on walks around their neighborhood! For both cats and dogs I usually take 30 minutes to an hour out my day to play with them with whatever toys the client has available!

I’m a recent college graduate, I have a part time job during the week, (Wednesday through Sunday) that aligns with my degree! My shifts are only ever 5 to 6 hours, so definitely capable of managing time in between to take care of your pet/pets! If you have more in depth questions about my schedule feel free to message me!
