As someone who has always had at least one dog in my household, I consider my pets to be apart of my family. With that comes a high level of protection over my dogs. Katherine Coogan is someone that I would trust implicitly to take care of anyone close to me, especially my beloved pets. She understands and exemplifies the love and care that being a pet-owner entails with her own pets, and she is equally respectful to other animals. She is not only extremely responsible in a job setting, but she goes above any beyond what is asked of her. She is the person who I can’t count on to pet dogs on campus with me, and I truly admire her capabilities with animals and people, who are equally likely to love her.

Katherine Coogan, a dear friend of mine, is one of the most thoughtful and caring people I know. Her attention to detail and selflessness are some of her strongest qualities. When I traveled to Greece with Katherine for a school trip, we came across many stray dogs on our hikes and guided tours. While I, shamefully, often ignored these dogs, Katherine would get on her hands and knees and play with the dogs. I would often catch her barking at the dogs as well. The dogs treated her like on of their own. Anyways, Ms. Coogan is a smart, responsible young woman who I would trust with my life.
