Pet care experience
I’ve worked with senior pups, young pups, and cats of all ages. I’ve worked with hyper-specific diets, as well as strict walk schedules. My goal is to keep your routine as much as possible for a healthy, happy animal, while also working with your desires (more walks than you’re normally capable of, park time, pup cups, spa days, etc.). I also love to photograph your pup/kitty cat, and would be happy to send as many updates as you’d like!

Katherine was my roommate in college. We lived together for 2 years. I worked long hours in the fashion studio at school every night, while Katherine would usually work from home after class. She got to know my cat, Snoop, very well. If I couldn't make it home in the evening early enough to feed Snoop, she made sure he was fed. She would let him cuddle with her while she studied or worked on projects. She always played with him when he was bored and would carry him around the apartment like when you hold a baby/small child against your chest (facing out over your shoulder) lol he never liked to be held, until Katherine held him like that. To this day he still reaches up, waiting to be picked up and carried around the house haha. I know this testimonial is supposed to be for dog sitting/walking/etc., but I couldn't think of a better human being to take care of your pet. She is attentive, patient, loving, trustworthy and will make sure your pet gets all the care and attention they need while in her company. 10/10 recommend 💖
Our family has a Golden Retriever mix and an orange tabby cat and they both love Katherine so much. She takes wonderful care of them and I've never worried while we've been away. She is conscientious of their unique dietary needs and asks questions if she needs clarification. We also receive photo updates, which are wonderful! They both always looks so happy. I highly recommend Katherine for your pet care needs.
While I was out of the country for two weeks, Katherine was wonderful at caring for my pets! I have two quirky cats Julia and Peaches, and a large dog TJ with arthritis who needs multiple pills daily. Katherine was able to navigate my dog’s needs and was extremely kind to him. She also befriended the cats. Julia can be very picky about whom she will engage with, and Peaches is a rambunctious troublemaker. They are both lovable but can be challenging. While traveling, I was not available by phone, so Katherine made us a shared Google folder where she uploaded images, videos, and updates about animals. She has a great sense of humor, so the things in the folder were often funny and cute. It was comforting to me to know my pets were safe and comfortable while I was gone. In all my interactions with Katherine, she has been earnest, generous, and sweet. She genuinely enjoys being with the animals and taking care of them. I am very happy to have made this connection with Katherine and will continue to rely on her when my pets need care.
Katherine adopted a dog that had a horrible origin story. It has taken years of patience, love and struggles to find the right medication, but now that little guy is in such a better place. Not saying she can handle every tough case - but she has definitely developed understanding and techniques to make dogs feel safe.

I currently own a rescue pup that started in our family with extreme behavioral issues. My partner and I have worked diligently to be kind, understanding, and provide a happy and healthy home for him, where he lives happy and content. I take my job as a temporary caretaker very seriously- I keep my clients updated with photos and videos, I work hard to make sure I follow your schedule as closely as possible, and I also strive to treat your pets to the best vacation they can have while you’re on yours!
Information Katherine C. would like to know about your pet
Any reactivities, any issues with certain sounds, and their commands ESPECIALLY recall commands. Do they like other dogs? Are they ok with pets? Do they get cranky at night? Is there anything YOU think is important for me to know? The more info I have, the better!
A typical day
Every dog is different! For big sniffers, I love to engage their minds with a treat based “find it” game, such as a snuffle mat, or hiding a treat and having them hunt for it. I also love to take dogs to both Portland Raceway Dog Park, as well as 100 acres dog park! I have a backseat dog pen converted so that we can go anywhere!
