Above and beyond care for your pet
Pet care experience
** Stepping away from Rover until further notice, effective at the end of September 2022. Thank you. ** BACKGROUND: My family adopted my first cat when I was 5 years old, which kickstarted a life-long love of animal care. Starting in my teens, I began taking care of other people’s dogs and cats when they were away. I discovered a passion for putting both pet owners and and their furry friends at ease when they have to be apart. My current cat, Jasper, has some special dietary needs, so I am experienced in meeting animals where they are. This flexibility, creativity, and adaptability make me well equipped to follow your instructions to a T and keep your family member happy and healthy.
Reviews
Thank you so much Katherine. We really appreciate the great care you give Cocoa and the wonderful updates and pics everyday. Cocoa loves you!
My cat is super skittish and requires some medication with her wet food. Katherine was super attentive to the instructions I left her and sensitive to my cat's needs. She got along so well with my cat even though she has separation anxiety and is generally fearful of most new people. I highly recommend Katherine as a sitter and would definitely ask her to watch my cat again!
Katherine was so kind and patient with our cat despite him being a bit of a terror. She fed, played, and cared for him while we were away for a few days, putting us at ease that he had someone to look after him. Highly recommend.
Katherine was so wonderful! Friendly, on time, took excellent care of my cat. We even had a little trouble with my cats overnight feeder and Katherine went above and beyond to help fix it. Would definitely recommend!

MY APPROACH: I am a respectful visitor in your home. My goal is to cause the least disruption to you and your pet’s environment. Health, safety, and fun are my top priorities! I have had to administer oral medication to my cat before via both pill and syringe, so I feel comfortable following clear instructions to deliver whatever your animal needs. I am also a big believer in open communication. Whatever amount of check-ins you desire, I am more than happy to reassure you of your pet’s well-being.
Information Katherine C. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know: - if your pet has special needs and how I can support them -if your pet has aggression issues and your go-to methods to manage these behaviors -how comfortable your pet feels with unknown people and animals (useful for if we are on a walk and encounter others)
