Pet care experience
Working in animal rescue for the last 8 years gives me a wealth of experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I am able to read dog behavior and I am comfortable handling dogs in various types of situations. I have leash training experience and am happy to exercise your dog in an area in which he or she feels comfortable (your home, yard, or local park). I will treat your dog as if it were my own and make sure that it is well exercised, happy, and getting the attention it needs while you are away from home.

Kate and King kept Simba for me while I was out of town. Kate sent pictures each day and updated me on how Simba was doing. This helped me to attend to the business at hand and not worry about my little fella. It went so well that he will be returning for another visit soon!
Our experience with Katherine and King was an A+! My husband and I were nervous about King being scary to to our little 12lb dog, but Katherine made it so easy for us to relax. She was friendly as she invited us for a tour of her home. The feel was cozy and welcoming. She gave us an outline of her schedule and what we could expect about our doggie's stay. While away, she sent us pictures and updated us on the bond that was gained by our dog and King. She has a great knowledge and love for doggie-children. We will definitely be using her again!
You will not find a more passionate dog lover than Katherine. When my dog was injured, she even paid visits to her in the hospital so she wouldn't feel lonely while I was at work. With Katherine, you aren't just getting a dog walker. You're getting a knowledgeable, professional, caring person who will treat your dog like her own. Since Katherine has worked in pit bull rescue the last few years, she has experience with all kinds of dogs and all kinds of issues that dogs might have. She's qualified to walk or dogsit your reactive dog, your anxious dog, or your dog that pulls on the leash like there's no tomorrow. I know many owners who have dogs with these issues are nervous about having someone else care for their pet. Have no fear. Katherine is on it.

I would also like to know your preferred veterinary care provider in case of an unlikely emergency situation. I do not have ANY breed restrictions. I am experiences with all breeds of dogs, including those that people sometimes deem "aggressive breeds."
A typical day
I'd prefer to take your dog for a walk in a comfortable and familiar environment (like your neighborhood) or to a local park. I will exercise your dog with toys and socialization activities.
