Pet care experience
A dog owner (to a beautiful black lab named Summer) for sixteen years and babysitter for half of my life I have over fifteen years experience for caring for dogs. I live in a dog-friendly apartment in the Upper East Side and am in walking distance to Central Park. I'm looking to care for dogs of all breeds and sizes - and prefer having them stay at my place on weekends! I love long walks around the city and love energetic companions who are ready to play! I am looking to babysit any breed or size dog and am more than happy to board your pet! I am open to dogs of all breeds and sizes. Before sitting for a dog, I would like to know their relative demeanor on and off leash so as not to have any surprises when they are under my care. Similarly, I would like to know their demeanor around other pets, children and adults so I know what environments the dog is comfortable with on our walks. Finally, I would like to know what types of rules and routines the dog abides by at home (allowed on furniture, time of meals etc.) so I can try to follow this routine to keep the dog as comfortable as possible.
