Pet care experience
Current owner of a senior cat and sweet puppy who I love more than anything. I've grown up with many different types of pets since I was a baby. I'm experienced caring for neighbors' and friends' dogs and cats. Experienced and comfortable with small animals such as rodents and fish. House check ins can include gardens and houseplants under some circumstances.

I am happy to check in mornings, midday, and evenings depending on need. I am very respectful of a client's space and will happily respect any boundaries in place. I will assist with simple home care, such as sweeping around a litter box. I have a car available for my own transportation, as well as the possibility of transporting smaller pets if needed. I live Hiawatha School Park and River Parkway, great places for dogs to enjoy a walk. I'd love to meet your pets, please reach out with any questions you have for me! I can board one or two potty trained dogs that are easygoing and will be gentle with my own dog and cat. I have a well-fenced yard and can offer as much (or as little) interaction as they would like. I will not be away from home for more than three hours a day, unless there is a very unusual circumstance.

Happy to help excitable dogs burn off energy, just let me know if we should look for quieter routes with fewer distractions. Happy to administer medication that a dog or cat will willingly accept.

At home visits, I make sure to offer some play time with interactive toys. There are lots of great places to walk in my neighborhood, such as along the river or around Minnehaha Academy.

Availability
I work full time, mostly remotely. While I do check in at the office a couple times a week and need to attend an occasional meeting, I enjoy the opportunity to get out and check in on neighborhood pets and go for walks with dogs. I generally have flexibility within an hour of a preferred time.
