Pet care experience
I have always had a love for animals ever since I was young. Friends and family always called me a pet whisperer because I would get animals to love me pretty instantly. I got my first dog at 19, Nugget, my corgi! I trained her from a puppy and then when I moved to New York, she stayed with my family on a big farm because I knew she would be happier there than in a tiny apartment. When I was in NY, I was a dog walker and pet sitter for 3 years and had an extensive list of clients who would call on me whenever their pet needed a walk or just some extra love while their owner was away. I have walked dogs in Seattle for about 3 years and love exploring the city with furry friends! I currently live in a home with a cat as well, and enjoy playing with her or just letting her be a cat :) I am happy to give medication via any pills or drops, but I don’t have experience with oral or injected medications. I will also give your pet proper playtime to get their energy out. I am always very clean and respectful of any home I visit. I’m excited to meet your best furry friend and help to take care of them!

Kathrine has been my pups walker as of this past week for multiple walks. Katharine has been everything we were looking for. Great communication, attention to detail (messaged me about a cut that I had already known about), covers a good distance in the 30 min provided and always sends cute pictures and updates with each walk. Kathrine goes above and beyond and was nice enough to clean up a accident my puppy had and even brought in a package for me. It’s hard to initially trust someone you don’t know well with a key to your home and your beloved pet but just take it from me, Katherine has you covered. 10/10!
Katherine is wonderful. She has cat sat for us and say that our cats have been happy after their time with her.

I am always very attentive of the pet care outlined in your Rover profile and make sure to ask any questions if clarification is needed. I am one who is constant in communication about how your pet is doing under my care and I am always happy to snap a picture of all the fun we are having! I will always try to make a meet and greet happen before taking on a sitting or walk, because I believe it is good to make sure I vibe well with you and your pet, but I am always open to doing a FaceTime call if schedules are right or or is a last minute sitting where we cannot meet beforehand. I have learned many techniques over the years to care for pets while keeping them safe. I know for some pets it can be scary to meet new people, but I am more than happy to just give them a little extra time and love to ensure they know they are in good hands!

No breed preference here! I ask if your pet has an particular needs or triggers to please let me know ahead of time. Also, if you have a pup who has to be carried up or down stairs, please let me know. I will always do my best to make sure to accommodate the needs of your buddy!

Availability
At the moment, my schedule is pretty flexible during the day, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pet! Half of the week I do work at a bar on Cap Hill in the evenings (430pm-2am on Friday and the occasional Saturday, 530pm-1130pm on Tuesday and Thursday), but I am happy to visit before work and, if need be, return to your furry friend right away and give them extra love and attention following work! I am happy to pop in for a visit or give lots of snuggles to your buddy. If something should ever come up that does not allow me to do my job, I will always reach out with ample time.
